My Winter Must Have List

Winter Essentials

rag & bone cable knit sweater / Knit top / V neck tee, $41 / Leather motorcycle jacket / Stretch jeans, $62 / Tory Burch boots / Steve Madden lace up boots / Pieces infinity scarve, $28

So it's the day after Thanksgiving, I hope you guys had a great day with your families and friends! You're not too stuffed from yesterday right? I hope not!

I know a lot of you guys, like myself, are getting ready for all of the big blowout sales that are coming up as the holidays are approaching (i.e. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Pre Christmas, After Christmas sales)! If you're having trouble figuring out what clothes you want to buy/invest in for the winter time, you've come to the right place!

I wanted to start off with a basic template. When all else fails, I wear a simple t-shirt and some dark jeans. Since winter is right around the corner, you can add different pieces to make this outfit perfect for the cold weather.

1. Leather Jacket- This is and always will be a staple in my closet. Leather jackets are an item I don't mind investing in, because they last a LIFETIME.

2. Cable Knit Sweaters- They are cute, they are comfortable, and they give you that casual chic look. You can find cable knit sweaters anywhere from department stores to thrift stores. I wouldn't spend too much money on these because they tend to fall apart after being washed so many times.

3. Cardigans- You can never have enough cardigans. They go with everything, perfect in the winter, fall, spring, and heck, sometimes even summer.  Some are thick, others are thin, it just depends on what you like. For the winter, I would go for the thick ones because they will keep you warm. Not really an investment piece, because they are available everywhere.

4. Accessories and shoes-

Scarves are one of my favorite accessories. You can't go wrong with  scarves. There are expensives ones, but I tend to buy the more affordable ones because honestly, it depends on how you dress it up.

You have to have boots for the winter. Flats are always cute, but they are not going to keep your toes warm. Boots are another investment piece, but if you don't have the cash, I say buy it from stores like Forever 21 and H&M. Also go on, and use my 20% off (MEMOIR2) code and you'll score a pair for under $40!

Happy Shopping!
